- Process and monitor invoices and payments accurately and on time.
- Verify invoices against purchase orders and resolve discrepancies.
- Manage vendor accounts, including reconciliation and communication.
- Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and procedures.
- Prepare payment runs and maintain accurate records of transactions.
- Assist with month-end closing activities, including accruals.
- Respond promptly to vendor and internal inquiries regarding payments.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounts payable or a related finance role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle, or similar).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
- Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
- Familiarity with expense management systems and vendor portals.
- Knowledge of Canadian tax codes.
