Reporting to the Senior Accountant, the Senior Office Clerk is responsible to ensure the effective flow of information, communication and execution of world-class customer service that is friendly and efficient. This position supports the finance team in executing the department’s goals and objectives.
Qualifications: Candidates must possess basic accounting knowledge, excellent internal and external customer service skills, and strong attention to detail. Applicants should be self-reliant, goal-oriented, and be able to set and adjust priorities and schedules.
- Business or Office Administration Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years experience in an office environment or similar role, preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Tech savvy, with the ability to adapt to new technology
- Ability to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and orally
- Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Superior telephone manners and strong interpersonal skills
- High flexibility with strong interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to respond quickly in a dynamic and changing environment
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
- High level of integrity, confidentially, and accountability
Availability: Monday to Friday; 7.30am to 4.30pm
