Order Management and Supply Chain Specialist - Bushings

The successful candidate will support the bushings business in the US and Canada and will be the main point of contact for customers. This includes being responsible for managing the entire life cycle of the order, which entails managing internal resale POs, preparing reports, managing milestones, managing risks and opportunities, managing deliveries, invoices, and payments for all orders assigned. The order management specialist will review the contracts, coordinating, communicating, and acting with customers, internal and external stakeholders to meet the contractual obligations.

Your Tasks:

  • Manage customer requirements/expectations and address any concerns until reaching a final resolution.
  • Perform contract reading and derive actions concerning risks, opportunities, and contractual obligations.
  • Regularly perform lessons learned activities and feed the results into own projects and across the organization.
  • Work with the various stakeholders (customers and stakeholders) and keep proactive communication (written and verbal), in order to report order status and ensure the project remains on schedule, or present actions to recover project delays.
  • Monitor the timely completion of activities/tasks which have a direct impact on Trench and Customers KPIs.
  • Proactively monitor customer deliverables, supplier deliverables, on time delivery and overall satisfaction.
  • Analyze booking information from Offer Management to determine service requirements, scope, logistic demands, border crossing points, and obtain rates from approved carriers & freight forwarders.
  • Provide support in preparation of required contract documentation and processes, including updating project progress database, warranty certificates, lien waivers and schedules.
  • Co-ordinate with the Logistics department the flow of outbound freight while staying abreast of daily priorities, expectations, and load details.
  • Execute and manage internal resale POs to the manufacturing facilities.
  • Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate processes for components delivery, including safety stock and supply strategy.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing and scheduling to address customer escalation and priorities, also ensure the orders are in line with customer contractual requirements.
  • Support the department manager with revenue forecast planning by providing accurate status of orders.
  • Support customer visits.


Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in customer focused Order Management and Supply chain management roles.
  • Working knowledge in MRP, scheduling, and KPIs management.
  • SAP Knowledge.
  • Experience working with the Office suite and proficient with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Possess the analytical and organizational skills necessary to ensure the accurate and timely completion of assigned responsibilities.
  • Ability to work independently, but also cooperatively and professionally with internal customers, sales agents and management.
  • Able to work under tight deadlines and demonstrate flexibility on dealing with multiple objectives.
  • Overall supply chain experience (procurement or production scheduler experience).
  • Must be fluent in English, fluency in French is an asset.
