The Role:

As a Program Manager, you will facilitate and enable agile best practices that elevate the success and efficiency of our product engineering teams, help drive our strategic roadmap initiatives through the product lifecycle and play a crucial role in optimizing operational processes. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and leadership abilities, with proven experience working with cross-functional teams. This role requires experience in project management, risk mitigation, and Scrum practices, along with the flexibility to adapt to non-traditional Agile implementations.

Responsibilities :

Agile

  • Partner closely with product engineering teams to improve predictability and reliability using agile methodologies.
  • Guide and facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning meetings, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure full team engagement with a focus on growing the capabilities of all team members.
  • Drive continuous improvement in the software development process and methodologies used within the organization.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers and stakeholders to facilitate release management across teams to coordinate release scheduling.
  • Serve as a coach while empowering team self-organization and self-management.
  • Anticipate and address impediments to team and help manage interdependencies between agile teams.

Project & Process Management

  • Drive the planning, execution, and delivery of software development initiatives across multiple teams, ensuring alignment with company strategy and goals.
  • Work closely with product management, engineering, and design teams to define initiative requirements, scope, and milestones.
  • Optimize and maintain processes to manage scope over the product lifecycle and improve efficiency.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration among project stakeholders, facilitating decision-making and fostering a culture of accountability.
  • Identify issues, risks, dependencies, and develop mitigation and escalation strategies.
  • Monitor the progress of our strategic roadmap initiatives, helping the team to achieve their commitments. Manage and report on the status of scope, schedule, and resources.

Reporting and Data Analytics

  • Leverage data and reporting resources to drive decision-making and identify areas for improvement.
  • Use data, observation and analytical skills to proactively identify opportunities for continuous improvement in team health and delivery, develop proposed solutions, and share knowledge and best practices across teams.

Requirements / Qualifications:

  • 5+ years working experience with at least 1 year in product operations, program management, or project management with a focus on agile methodologies.
  • Scrum master experience, ideally working across multiple teams.
  • Proven experience with project risk management, dependency management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights from sprint metrics, team health reports, and other operational data.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and manage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to balance tactical execution with strategic planning.
  • Experience in software development or a technology-driven environment is a plus.
  • Agile certifications (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) are preferred but not required.

The compensation for this position is commensurate upon experience, with a range between $100,000.00- $130,000.00 CAD in on target earnings.
