You Are

The Data Validation Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data within the Workday system. This role involves validating data during the implementation and ongoing use of Workday, ensuring that data is correctly converted from legacy systems and maintained accurately.

The Opportunity

  • Data Conversion and Validation: Lead the process of converting data from legacy systems into Workday using Workday-provided tools. Validate data to ensure it matches the source files.
  • Data Quality Assurance: Identify and resolve data discrepancies, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with project teams, including data conversion consultants and client counterparts, to ensure successful data validation.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of data validation processes and results.
  • Issue Resolution: Timely identification and escalation of data-related issues, developing alternative approaches as necessary.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to team members and clients on data validation processes and best practices.

What You Need

  • Experience: Proven experience in data validation, preferably with Workday or similar HR and financial management systems.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in data conversion tools, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and data mapping.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data validation tasks.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot data issues.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Workday Certification: Certification in Workday HCM or Financials is a plus.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to interpret data and identify trends or discrepancies.
  • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and timelines.

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Role Location: Remote

Compensation Range: $108,000-$132,000

Benefits

Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They and their dependents residing in Canada are eligible for Supplemental Healthcare coverage, as well as Company-paid Employee Only basic life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment coverage.

Full-time temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year). They and their dependents residing in Canada are eligible for Supplemental Healthcare coverage, as well as Company-paid Employee Only basic life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment coverage.

Part-time regular and temporary employees receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year).

All Canadian employees who work in a province, territory or locality with more generous paid sick leave benefits than specified here will receive the benefit of those sick leave laws.
