About The Opportunity

LRO Staffing works with many of the most prestigious national associations in Ottawa and we are delighted to be assisting one of these member-centric organizations source a Bilingual Digital Communications Officer.

Under the direction of the Director, Public Affairs and Communications the Digital Communications Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and executing organization’s web-based communication projects. The role is responsible for developing, writing, and proofreading high-quality web content combined with technical skills allowing them to coordinate content effectively across various digital platforms.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Coordinate all digital projects, ensuring adherence to the organizations style and branding guidelines
• Develop, write and curate content for both web and traditional publishing, ensuring alignment across various platforms including blogs, social media and web content
• Manage and update the organizations website
• Coordinate campaigns, including member emails, digital newsletters
• Manage social media administration including data analytics review of campaigns
  
  

About You

The successful candidate will have the following:

• Post secondary education in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or related field
• A minimum of two years’ experience in communications and digital content development
• Experience measuring the effectiveness of content/web analytics tools
• Experience with CRM tools used for mass communication; such as WordPress and Canva
• Bilingualism – the ability to write well and create content in both official languages
  
  

About the Job

This position is a full time/permanent position offering a salary of $60,000 to $65,000 with exceptional benefits that include a retirement component. Their offices conveniently located just outside the downtown core, near the Glebe with on site parking available. They are offering a hybrid work arrangement with most professionals electing to be in office 2-3 days per week, with flexibility.
