Who We're Looking For

We are looking for a strategic, high-performing, and innovative brand marketer to join our team as Director, Entertainment Partnerships. Interested?

You will contribute to the strategy, development and execution of Rogers partnership portfolio that delivers brand impact and business results. Candidates must have an aptitude for strategic and creative thinking, strong communication, relationship-building and stakeholder skills, and bring demonstrated experience planning and executing integrated marketing campaigns.

Reporting to the Senior Director & Head of Partnerships this role is responsible for developing and executing our Entertainment partnership strategy and portfolio to drive brand and business results for Rogers. Properties include Live Nation, Rogers Stadium, TIFF, Greater Toronto Airport Authority (GTAA), Beyond the Seat & more.

What You'll Do

  • Align Entertainment strategy with Rogers' brand and business objectives
  • Drive strategic and creative thinking across multiple projects, from creative brief development to insights-driven campaign execution
  • Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing programs and campaigns, including but not limited Live Nation, Rogers Stadium, TIFF, GTAA and Rogers Beyond the Seat that delivers premier sports and entertainment experiences to Rogers customers across the country
  • Effectively build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners across Rogers entertainment partnerships including ELT/SLT, cross-functional leads, property and agency partners
  • Sit on Partnerships Team SLT, contributing to Partnerships thought-leadership and key programs while leading a team of two (2) high-performing manager-level direct reports, with potential for future team growth
  • Prepare executive-level strategic plans, memos and post reports for alignment with leadership and stakeholders that deliver on bold ambition and KPIs
  • Contribute to quarterly and annual brand planning and budgeting and maintain up to date objectives and KPI results for Entertainment Partnerships
  • Continuously identify ways to challenge the status quo and elevate Rogers’ Partnerships to deliver on long-term brand growth and business impact

What You Bring

  • 15+ years of experience in Partnership and/or Brand Marketing, including strategic planning, creative development and execution, with a proven track record of leading a team and managing large integrated marketing campaigns
  • University degree, preferably in sponsorship marketing and/or comms
  • Strong understanding of the Entertainment landscape (Canada, US, Global)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Strategically minded, adept at driving innovation with strong analytical skills for tracking and optimizing campaign performance through data-driven insights
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • Experience working in the telecommunications industry a plus

This is a hybrid work position and will require you to be in office three days per week. You can choose which days work best for you!
