As part of our Animal Agriculture Business Unit, North America's premier feedlot consulting service, you'll work with top-tier operations to optimize production efficiency and animal health. Your expertise will contribute to our proprietary software systems, directly impacting the future of sustainable agriculture.

What You'll Do

As a Feedlot Technology Specialist, you will provide technical support to our clients and team members to ensure they maximize their benefit from the TAC Proprietary Software. You will respond to TAC Proprietary Software related technical questions from clients. In addition, you will support the ongoing evolution of our software solutions with our product team. You will also support our on-site network with developing and maintaining our software in conjunction with our TAC Product, Engineering, and Technology teams. You will be a passionate problem solver with excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Master TAC Proprietary Software, becoming an expert in its features and applications
  • Manage and resolve technical support tickets from clients and team members
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues remotely and on-site
  • Provide comprehensive support for TAC Proprietary Software suite
  • Assist clients with remote network and server connectivity to TAC software
  • Engage in product discovery to drive future software and hardware development
  • Collaborate with developers and engineers to refine software requirements
  • Conduct user acceptance testing during the software development cycle
  • Deliver on-site network, server support, and technical troubleshooting as needed

What You Bring

  • Professional experience working in a feedlot environment
  • 3+ years of IT support experience in a consulting environment with ongoing software development
  • Proficiency in supporting network infrastructure and providing on-site technical assistance
  • Strong problem analysis and resolution skills with a methodical approach
  • Excellent communication abilities, adept at explaining technical concepts to non-technical users
  • Self-motivation and dedication to teamwork
  • Comprehensive knowledge of various software and hardware products
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to work independently
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license

  • Experience supporting enterprise-level software applications

  • Familiarity with agricultural technology and processes
