Join a top employer and advance your career! Aplin has partnered with a Winnipeg-based company to hire a Maintenance Technician. The Maintenance role is responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment and building systems. This position reports directly to the Team Lead and requires field work, with transportation provided from the office location.

Our client is willing to train you in this role. No Journeyman or Red Seal ticket required.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair equipment and systems for both machines and buildings
• Conduct preventive maintenance (PM) on building equipment
• Comply with safety regulations and ensure clean, organized work areas
• Perform additional duties as assigned
  
  

Working Conditions:

• Regular walking, standing, and bending throughout the workday
• Ability to lift 30-45 lbs
  
  

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Mechanical or electrical background, with the ability to dismantle and replace equipment components
• Ability to read and understand blueprints
• Valid driver’s license and ability to work at heights indoors
