Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute product validation against requirements in R&D lab and field settings for solar inverters, batteries, and EV chargers.
- Document bugs and issues, performing troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Coordinate with project teams for resolution and verification.
- Develop and enhance test infrastructure.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams on hardware and software components, including interfaces and control algorithms.
- Assist in developing functional requirements and translating them into technical specifications for engineering teams.
- Maintain documentation accuracy using tracking tools like Confluence and JIRA.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field (Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Engineering Physics, Computer Science, Controls Engineering).
- 3+ years of design engineering experience and 2+ years in systems engineering, with a total of 5+ years in systems design and ownership of complex IoT products.
- Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced product development environments and work collaboratively in cross-functional R&D teams.
- Strong knowledge of AC circuits, including complex analysis, harmonics, and 3-phase circuits.
- Experience with AC and DC sources, electronic loads, batteries, and measurement tools (oscilloscopes, power analyzers, CAN analyzers).
- Familiarity with communication networks (CAN, Modbus, Ethernet) and protocols.
- Basic coding and scripting skills in languages like C and Python.
- Experience in testing and troubleshooting Cloud APIs.
- Demonstrated systematic approach to testing execution and problem-solving.
