Your Opportunity
Stantec is seeking a motivated Structural Co-op student to join our highly successful water practice in Burnaby, BC. This position requires attendance at the Stantec Burnaby office 5 days a week for a minimum term of 4 months (applications requiring accommodations for remote work, will not be considered).

Your Opportunity
Stantec is seeking a motivated Structural Co-op student to join our highly successful water practice in Burnaby, BC. This position requires attendance at the Stantec Burnaby office 5 days a week for a minimum term of 4 months (applications requiring accommodations for remote work, will not be considered).
Your Key Responsibilities
- Providing assistance for the analysis and design of a variety of concrete, steel, masonry, and wood structures.
- Writing and editing technical reports, engineering studies, and technical specifications.
- Support construction projects with field site visits and construction observation duties.
- Coordinate design work with project team members, other disciplines, and other offices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs. Experience with structural finite element engineering design software such as SFRAME, SAP and ETABS is considered an asset.
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential to meet the expectations of this position.
- Ability to work independently, and as part of a multidiscipline group.
- Class 5 drivers license and access to a vehicle is considered an asset.
- Enrolment in a Bachelor’s Degree in Structural/Civil Engineering is required for this position.

- Lower Mainland $22.74 Per Hour - Lower Mainland $31.21 Per Hour Min/Max Pay Range for postings located in BC (Lower Mainland includes Vancouver & Burnaby)
