Job Description

Health Club Attendant (Part Time)

Fostering the health and wellbeing of our guests, visitors and Colleagues is an integral part of our Fairmont Hotels & Resorts culture. As a Health Club Attendant, your warm service and knowledge of all our facility has to offer will support our guests and members in their commitment to healthy living.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Provide professional, friendly, and engaging service to ensure all guests feel welcomed and have a safe, enjoyable experience
  • Maintain cleanliness and functionality of weight and cardiovascular areas through regular inspections and adherence to facility guidelines
  • Maintain accurate attendance records and ensure proper guest registration upon entry
  • Keep the Health Club facility clean and organized
  • Assist guests with massage service bookings and payments
  • Provide information on Health Club membership options and facilitate contract and payment transactions
  • Other duties as assigned

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):

  • Frequent walking and standing throughout shift
  • Occasional lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs
  • Frequent bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling
  • Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
  • Frequent walking and standing throughout shift

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

  • Previous experience in a Health Club preferred
  • CPR and First Aid certification required
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
  • Highly responsible & reliable
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
  • Previous experience in a Health Club preferred

Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining work authorization documents.

Hourly Rate Range: $19.45 – $20.45 CAD Gross per hour
