Make an impact with our National Tax Services Group as a Manager. This diverse team of professionals provides best-in-class industry and technical expertise to internally drive the success of our Tax practice. As a trusted advisor, you’ll work internally to support the delivery of tax services, the development and coordination of key training programs and materials and the communication of tax matters.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain firm standards, processes and tools to support the delivery of tax services to our clients
• Troubleshoot queries relating to the preparation of tax returns through the firm’s tax software
• Manage and maintain tax templates in accordance with the latest tax updates
• Develop internal training materials and practice aids to support the implementation of firm standards
• Facilitate and assist with firm-wide learning and development events as required
• Research and keep up to date with the latest changes in local tax legislation; draft internal and external tax publications
• Issue tax technical research and information/support to professionals throughout the firm
• Prepare and participate in internal tax compliance and planning projects
  
  
  

Skills And Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce or business administration (accounting or finance major is preferred)
• Completion of a CPA designation (completion of CFE examination and working towards relevant practical experience requirements will also be considered)
• 4 or more years of relevant tax practice experience in a public accounting firm
• Working knowledge of Canadian and U.S. personal income tax
• Experience working with accounting and tax software
