Your Opportunity:

As a member of the Medicine Program team, you will have an opportunity to participate in providing support to a large fast paced program. This role is an integral part of our care team providing support with transporting patients, equipment and supplies within the various medical units and in assisting to maintain cleanliness of equipment. Please note: Classifications Under Review.

Description:

The Service Attendant supports the department by preforming the tasks of stocking, restocking, cleaning, and portering of equipment, supplies, and patients. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the CUPE 2111 Collective Agreement.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of Grade 10 required.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Excellent time management skills. Ability to sustain a shift of walking, standing, lifting and bending. Able to follow verbal and written instructions.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous portering or housekeeping experience an asset. Strong interpersonal skills.
