Position Overview

Under the supervision of Manager of Housekeeping, and while demonstrating a commitment to the mission, values and organizational culture of the Grace General Hospital, the AIDE III is responsible for coordinating the daily operations of the Housekeeping Department activities to maintain all areas of the Hospital in a safe, clean and orderly condition, as well as the smooth and timely functioning of all routine activities.

Experience

  • Minimum three years cleaning experience required.
  • Minimum two years supervisory experience in a medium to large organization, preferably in a hospital environment preferred.


Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)

  • Grade 12 education or equivalent.
  • Successful completion of a supervisory/management course from a recognized community college or university preferred.

  • Demonstrated computer ability.
  • Must be self-motivated with exemplary customer service skills.
  • Must possess good analytical, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.

This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment. The successful candidate will be responsible for any service charges incurred. A security check is considered current if it was obtained no more than six (6) months prior to the start of employment.
