Field Service Repair Technician

In this role, you will be reporting to the Advanced Quality Manager. The Field Service Technician performs repairs in the field as per service calls.

What You Will Do:

  • Repair Masco bathing products in the field
  • Perform site audits for large projects and work in Plant (St. Thomas) if required
  • Train Masco St. Thomas employees on repair and rework tasks
  • Work with chemicals, fiberglass, resin, etc.
  • Verify warranty and get waiver signoffs from customer
  • Provide accurate and valuable feedback to the plant
  • Report the previous day to the warranty administrator and production
  • Follow the field call schedule daily
  • Represent Masco Canada in front of the Customer
  • Other duties as the need arises

Who You Are:

  • O.S.S.D. or its equivalent
  • Auto body skill trade an asset
  • Mechanically inclined, and comfortable working with hand tools and power tools
  • Background in plumbing
  • Experience with paint and touch-up jobs
  • Background in customer service
  • Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job which include bending, lifting heavy equipment, and working in confined spaces
  • 3-5 years home maintenance experience
  • Excellent time-management skills
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Willing to travel within the GTA & Southern Ontario
  • Possess a reliable SUV or pickup for carrying tools of the trade
