McMillan has an exciting opportunity as a Business Centre Assistant in our Toronto Business Centre group. As a member of the team, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the fast-paced Business Centre.

Please note that this role has a requirement to work onsite in the Toronto office at all times. This role will provide support to firm members both onsite and remotely but the successful candidate will always work from the Toronto office.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will support the day-to-day operations of a fast-paced department by providing a wide range of services. These responsibilities include sorting, digitizing, and archiving incoming mail and couriers, as well as processing outgoing mail and couriers using carrier platforms. You will manage incoming electronic faxes, perform digital imaging, and handle the printing, collating, and binding of documents. Additionally, you'll compile, format, and save electronic documents into Digital Closing Books, assist with tracking monthly statistics, and monitor mailroom equipment, troubleshooting minor issues and coordinating repairs as needed. You will also assist with Business Centre special projects, order and stock office supplies, and perform other duties as required.

What You Bring

You bring a strong client service attitude, with the ability to support firm members working both remotely and in the office. Your excellent oral and written communication skills complement your intermediate knowledge of Microsoft and Adobe software, as well as your aptitude for learning evolving technologies. You are able to work onsite at all times, both independently and as part of a team. In addition, you can lift up to 50 pounds and demonstrate strong administrative, organizational, and interpersonal skills. You excel at handling multiple priorities and thrive under pressure, maintaining a focus on getting things done while delivering exceptional client service. As a collaborative team player, you work well to achieve common goals.
