Accounts Payable Analyst – 1-Year Contract (Hybrid Role)

Position: Accounts Payable Analyst

Location: Ville Saint-Laurent (2 days in office, 3 days remote)

Salary: Up to $30/hour

Job type: Temporary, 1-Year Contract

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Analyst to join our Finance team for a 1-year contract. In this hybrid role, you will play a key part in processing and managing invoices, electronic payments, and manual check requests. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience handling a high volume of invoices, and the ability to resolve discrepancies efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and verify invoices for services.
• Ensure transactions comply with financial policies and procedures.
• Enter large volumes of invoices for payment processing.
• Follow up and resolve discrepancies related to invoice processing.
• Prepare and print weekly cheque runs and process ACH payments.
• Manage bi-weekly wire payments.
• Handle daily banking activities, including releasing cheques to the bank.
• Monitor vendor payment statuses (amounts due, disputes, deductions).
• Maintain confidential employee and vendor files.
• Participate in additional duties and projects as assigned.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable.
• Strong background in resolving invoice discrepancies.
• Ability to manage a high-volume workload efficiently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including V-lookups and formulas.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
