What is the opportunity?

The Senior Manager, U.S. Real Estate Financing Prospect Management will provide dedicated oversight to front-end sales activities for Real Estate Financing ensuring REF referral volumes and prospect conversion targets are achieved. The individual will lead the design and development of an enhanced prospect experience journey and will ultimately own the operational processes from initial prospect intake, nurturing and managing relationships, up to the point of application submission.

What will you do?

  • Lead the definition and creation of a refined and improved prospect client experience in partnership with a cross functional team including Marketing, Sales Enablement, and the REF line of business within RBC Bank U.S.
  • Create transparency of prospect volumes by type, quality, disposition, and source through enhanced reporting and oversight to key metrics.
  • Oversee the pipeline of prospects in an effort to improve both client experience and the movement of prospects through the sales cycle.
  • Own referral intake channels/portals, along with corresponding reporting, communication, and SLAs both recurring and ad-hoc as required.
  • Leverage voice of client insights to improve and refine areas of opportunity for improvement.
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and oversight to improve both prospect conversion rates and prospect client experience.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • 7-10 years of demonstrated success in a Sales Operations, Business Development, or related role
  • Proven history record for creating and evolving new and existing processes to drive standards and practices to increase efficiencies.
  • Experience collaborating with business leaders and key stakeholders.

Nice-to-have

  • Lending experience within the real estate vertical
  • NMLS License or membership to a Real Estate Association
  • Proficiency in the Salesforce CRM application
