Join the team at Fairmont Banff Springs as a Bowling Attendant and be a part of creating unforgettable guest experiences! You'll provide friendly service, manage transactions, keep amenities stocked, assist with score sheets, and ensure our bowling lanes and machines are always in top shape.
Starting Rate: $17.44 per hour
We recognize tenure through our compensation. Hourly rates increase after six months, and yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $20.97.
Job Duties Include:
- Have full knowledge of all menu items and pricing and receive and process all cash and credit card transactions from guests in an efficient and accurate manner
- Ensure stocking of all Bowling Centre and Cafe amenities and ensure the shoe rentals are appropriately handled and accounted for
- Assist guests/ members in reference to their score sheets, when required
- Ensure that all Bowling Area Machines are in an operational and functional manner at all times, assist or perform in stripping and conditioning bowling lanes and pin decks and other Machine/Lane related duties
- Other duties as assigned
Your Skills & Qualifications:
- Knowledge of 5 pin bowling an asset
- Must have completed Proserve prior to starting work (valid for 5 years)
- Previous guest service experience and point of sale system experience preferred
- Must have good cash handling skills
- Computer experience an asset
