Marketing Coordinator

In this role, you’ll be responsible for a variety of key tasks, from assisting with content creation to coordinating photoshoots and updating digital platforms. You’ll collaborate with a talented team to ensure consistency in our brand’s visibility and contribute to the success of marketing campaigns. Founded in Kingston in 1954, Homestead Land Holdings Limited has grown to become one of Canada’s largest and most respected owners of multi-residential apartment buildings. The founding principles of the company are still in place today, which are to provide residents with affordable, secure housing with a standard of care in which we would treat our own family members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop engaging digital and print content such as signs, flyers, newsletters, and other marketing materials to support promotional activities.
• Manage and optimize SEM and PPC campaigns to drive traffic and increase brand exposure.
• Regularly update and audit website content, ensuring promotions and materials are current and aligned with marketing objectives.
• Upload and manage promotions in the Yardi system and maintain accurate information across platforms.
• Organize and manage events, including the development of marketing materials, event logistics, and promotional efforts.
• Coordinate photoshoots for property listings and marketing materials, ensuring timely and organized execution.

Qualifications:

• A degree/diploma in Marketing from a recognized College or University.
• Experience in a marketing role, with an emphasis on digital marketing and content creation.
• Experience in SEM and PPC advertising.
• Understanding of marketing principles, branding, and customer engagement strategies.
• Design knowledge and skills to use Canva, Photoshop, and other graphic design software.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
