Available Shift: Days (Mon-Fri, 7:00am - 4:30pm)

We are hiring a Shop Technician/Heavy Duty Parts Installer! Our client manufactures trucks and trucking equipment in their St. Cathrines facility. Successful applicants will have 1-2 years of experience in an automotive manufacturing role assembling or installing mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems.
Job Duties:
- Prepare and install truck components (e.g., weight calibration, pneumatic and electrical systems)
- Working with mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems for dump trucks and equipment
- Complete quality inspections on equipment before and after installation
- Abide by all safety guidelines in the facility
- Clean and maintain workspaces
- Participate in department meetings and general training programs
- Lifting up to 50lbs and completing general labour tasks as assigned
Job Requirements:
- 1-2 years of automotive manufacturing or technician experience
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Welding experience (preferred but not required)
- Comfortable lifting up to 50lbs
- CSA Safety Shoes
- Willing to provide criminal record check
