Due to our company growth and expanding footprint, we are looking to add to our team and hire an Upholstery Assistant.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
We are looking for an Upholstery Assistant to join our growing team that would like to learn the upholstery trade.
This is a full time, entry level position that will pay $20/hour, plus employer paid benefits.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
We are looking for an Upholstery Assistant to join our growing team that would like to learn the upholstery trade.
This is a full time, entry level position that will pay $20/hour, plus employer paid benefits.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Safely use tools related to the upholstery trade to include hammers, scissors, staple guns, basic power tools and cleaning equipment.
- Safely and accurately use an electronic foam cutter to make foam cushions.
- Efficiently perform assigned duties in expected time frames.
- Must follow lead of senior shop personnel and adhere to shop policy, processes, and procedures.
- Frequent standing, bending, crouching, lifting, twisting and grasping.
- Must keep work area neat and uncluttered.
- High school diploma (preferred).
- Experience in a shop setting.
- Knowledge of general construction and mechanical tools and supplies.
- Ability to develop all skills necessary for the upholstery trade.
- Ability to develop an eye and a feel to upholster with professionalism.
- Employees must be able to lift and/or move 50 pounds at a minimum.
- $20/hour.
- Company paid benefits and a 5% matching pension plan.
