Accounting Manager/Supervisor

Description

Our client, a market-leading company in the industry, is currently on the lookout for a motivated, accomplished and meticulous Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join their proficient finance team. This position will play a significant role in overseeing and directing the financial functioning of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Management of day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring all financial reports are compiled accurately and within deadlines.
• Supervision of accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and financial reporting.
• Ensuring compliance with state and federal tax regulations.
• Preparation of financial statements and presentation of reports to senior management.
• Development of internal control procedures and policies to maximize efficiency and protect company assets.
• Supervise, direct, and manage the accounting team offering guidance and training to help them achieve their potential.
• Collaborate effectively with different departments to set budgets, accomplish financial goals, and make informed decisions.
  
  

Requirements

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A master’s degree or CPA will be preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance with considerable supervisory experience.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Impeccable understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Outstanding managerial and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Strong analytical abilities, detail-oriented, and ability to work under strict deadlines.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.
