The Role

  • We are looking for a dynamic, energetic Hardware Validation Engineer to join our growing team. As a key contributor to the success of Client’s products, you will be part of a leading team to drive and improve Client’s abilities to deliver the highest quality, industry-leading technologies to market.
  • The focus of this role is to plan, build, and execute the verification of new and existing features for Client’s silicon/ASIC designs, resulting in no bugs in the final product.

The Person

  • As a Hardware Validation Engineer, you will drive scalable and automated solutions.
  • In this high visibility position, your systems engineering expertise will be necessary to define system level testing procedures, develop IP specific testing methodologies, assess root causes, and ensure resolution for IP specific issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Driving technical innovation to improve Client’s capabilities across product development and validation, including tool and script development, technical and procedural methodology enhancement, and various internal and cross-functional initiatives.
  • End-to-end IP ownership of developing, documenting, and executing on verification test plans.
  • Debug issues found during verification cycle starting SOC bring-up to on-shelf date.
  • Working with multiple teams and tracking test execution to make sure all features are validated and optimized on time.
  • Working closely with different supporting technical teams (SW and HW).
  • Leading collaborative approaches with multiple teams to resolve issues encountered in a timely manner.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with board/platform-level debug, including delivery, sequencing, analysis, optimization, and debug methodologies.
  • Knowledge of system architecture, technical debug, and validation strategies.
  • Strong programming/scripting skills (e.g., C/C++, Ruby, Python).
  • Extensive experience with ASIC/ system debug techniques and methodologies.
  • Extensive experience with common lab equipment, including protocol/logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Academic Credentials

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical or computer engineering.
