The Shared Health Mental Health and Addictions provide a range of mental health and addiction services across the healthcare continuum that support and promote recovery. Through collaboration and partnership across various health services, social services and community sectors, Shared Health Mental Health and Addiction strives to promote mental health and well-being for all, to reduce inequities, to improve access and coordination to minimize the impact of mental health and addiction issues for individuals and families and to work towards the sustainability of mentally healthy individuals and communities.

Child and Youth (CY) Treatment Services within Mental Health and Addictions, Shared Health has developed two new services and teams to provide an immediate response for children and youth experiencing a mental health crisis, along with supporting their families, care providers, and professional supports. One service will be a virtual province-wide service, while the other will be Winnipeg-based, both virtual and in person in community. These services will provide timely consultation to service providers who deliver treatment resources to the child and youth population suffering with mental and emotional health challenges; and direct time-limited intervention to children and youth to support community stabilization.
