This is an excellent opportunity to add OT services to a clinic and group of clinics and support the expansion of services delivered at this clinic.

Take an inside look at what you’ll do each day

  • Provide comprehensive, evidence-based Occupational Therapy services to clients, including but not limited to behavioral activation, functional goal setting, cognitive rehabilitation, persistent pain management, basic mental health services, return to work planning and education to facilitate clients’ return to their pre-injury level of function
  • Caseload mix will be a combination of clientele who have been injured in automobile accidents as well as on long term disability.
  • Apply clinical expertise and professional competence in the assessment, intervention, consultation, case management, discharge planning, education, and follow-up of clients
  • Excel in a collaborative, inter-disciplinary team environment
  • Exhibit sound professional judgment
  • This role is a salaried position with Mon-Fri hours. Delivery of care will be a combination of in-person as well as virtual and you will be equipped with everything you need to deliver virtual sessions from your home clinic location.

What You Need To Be Successful

  • 1–3 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist is an asset
  • A Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Registration in good standing with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapy
  • Passion for your profession and commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Experience with return to work and interdisciplinary care an asset
  • Experience with chronic pain and concussion an asset
  • New graduates are welcome to apply
  • Having access to a vehicle and a valid drivers license an asset- although this role does not require regular commuting, there may be an occasional need to support a client on site and one of the other locations within Calgary.
