About ICG

ICG is a global holding company focused on buying & building digital properties that power frictionless online shopping experiences.

Our portfolio includes leading affiliate marketing platforms like Stylight and MyBestBrands. Retailers and e-commerce brands typically allocate ad spend across numerous channels, with Meta and Google dominating the landscape. ICG aims to disrupt this space by acquiring and then growing smaller, higher-potential platforms, offering retailers a powerful alternative for growth.

As the fastest-growing performance marketing network across Europe and the US, we drive over $250 million in annual sales for more than 3,000 merchants. ICG has 15 owned-and-operated properties spanning 15 markets in 7 languages, and we are redefining how brands connect with high-intent shoppers worldwide.

About This Role

We’re looking for a (Senior) Manager, Finance to take ownership of the strategy and day-to-day operations of our Finance function. This is a high-impact role where you’ll be responsible for Accounting, Tax, and FP&A across all of our global entities (Canada, US, Germany, Croatia). You’ll not only handle the nuts and bolts of Finance operations—from invoicing and collections to transfer pricing and VAT returns—but also drive the strategic financial direction of our business.

In this role, your work will be critical to ensuring that our leadership team has the financial insights needed to make smart, fast, and data-informed decisions. If you’re someone who thrives in both the details and the big picture—building processes, owning reports, and guiding the financial health of a growing business—this could be the role for you.

What You'll Do

You will lead the people and build the processes that enable us to scale into an efficient, fast-moving and high-performing global finance function. This is a player-coach role that will involve people leadership, project management and hands-on execution of work.

  • Accounting: bad data in means bad data out, and our reporting is only as accurate as our bookkeeping. You will ensure that all global entities are laying the right foundation with quick, accurate bookings of all transactions. We currently use QBO in North America and 2 different regional accounting tools in Europe. You will build the processes/systems for regional teams to complete their own accounting work, and spearhead the consolidation of that work at a global level.
  • AP/AR/Cash Management: you will oversee AR (our global invoicing processes within specific properties), AP, and ensure we are using cash effectively across our various companies/accounts. You'll help optimize for FX on a global scale while working with regional financial institutions to ensure we have the right tools/set-up to be successful.
  • Tax/Compliance: whether it's corporate income tax returns, quarterly VAT returns, or ensuring that we are adhering to covenants and requirements of lenders, you will stay on top of it and make sure it's done correctly.
  • FP&A: great reporting is critical to great operations — you will ensure that Finance has the data, numbers and reporting to drive increased performance across the business. This will include everything from generating standard Financial Statements on a monthly basis to reviewing cost centre expenses with leaders to building budgets and forecasts in our operating model alongside CEOs and other leaders.
  • M&A: as we continue to scale through acquisitions, you'll participate in due diligence processes (evaluating finance and tax workstreams), post-acquisition integrations, and consolidation of financial tooling and systems.

About You

  • You have foundational experience in a CPA firm, paired with hands-on industry experience in a fast-growing technology company; ideal candidates will have a mix of professional services experience and work within a PE or VC-backed company
  • You have successfully managed small teams and medium-large, complex projects
  • You have a strong understanding of US GAAP, with experience across all areas of corporate finance (accounting, tax, audit, AP/AR, treasury, etc.)
  • You don’t wait to be told what to do. You see what needs to be done and take accountability, even for tasks that aren’t officially “yours.”

What We Can Offer You

  • An opportunity to learn and grow more than you have in any of your previous roles! We are scaling quickly, and there's an incredible amount of work to be done on all fronts. We are a lean, scrappy team where everyone wears multiple hats and works closely together. You'll be able to work on projects and initiatives that interest you and expand your scope.
  • A flexible, remote/hybrid environment where you’ll have a lot of freedom and flexibility. We hire adults and treat them like adults.
  • A base salary of $135,000 - $155,000 per year + 30 days of vacation/PTO
  • The chance to have a meaningful impact on a business and see the results of your work.

What We Can't Offer You

  • Perfect Work/Life Balance. Startups can be unpredictable — while we aim for balance, there will be times when evenings or weekends are necessary to keep things moving. We encourage you to manage your schedule and find ways to create balance that works for you.
  • A ton of people and resources. We operate lean and invest thoughtfully. This means you’ll need to get creative and wear multiple hats to get the job done — and we’re still figuring things out as we grow.

Our Process

  • Applications: we’ll review your application within 72 hours, and you’ll hear from us no matter what. We’re committed to transparency — if we need more time to decide, we’ll let you know. No ghosting.
  • Interviews: you’ll meet with Brett first, followed by interviews with 2-3 other team members. Our conversations will be a mix of behavioural questions, deep dives into your experience, and plenty of time for you to ask questions. Each session will last 30-60 minutes over Google Meet.
  • Case Study: we’ll give you a real-world case study (compensated) to see how you think and solve problems. Afterward, we’ll have a working session to simulate what collaboration feels like at ICG.
  • Offer: this is the fun part — we'll make an offer, and start getting ready for you to join us!

If you have any questions throughout the process, feel free to reach out to Brett. Thank you, and hopefully we talk soon!

Compensation Range: CA$135K - CA$155K
