We have an exciting new opportunity for a Director, DTC Supply Chain Fulfilment to work across our incredible and growing brands Endy, Casper Canada and Hush.  In this pivotal role you will lead the strategic and operational oversight of all DTC supply chain functions including inventory management, demand planning, replenishment, stock allocation, vendor management, fulfilment and last mile delivery service across all DTC brands.

Its product line of obsessively engineered sleep products has expanded to include sheets, pillows, bed frames, and a dog mattress that are sold online and in stores. In 2023, Casper Canada joined Sleep Country Canada's family of brands where our small and highly collaborative team continues to grow.

Hush is a premium bedding company driven to help people optimize their lives through sleep.
Founded in 2017 after becoming famous for our luxurious and effective weighted blankets, we quickly grew to develop a functional line of sleep essentials that includes pillows, sheets, mattresses, duvets, and loungewear. And we’re not done yet.
 



In this role you will:

  • Provide leadership, coaching, training and directional support to the Supply Chain and Fulfilment Operations teams to ensure that both organizational and personal goals and objectives are met
  • Manage the supply chain for the DTC brands which entails that all brands, across both ecommerce and retail stores distribution channels, are in a proper inventory position to meet the needs of the business, and that distribution centers are well supported to operate at the highest efficiencies
  • Collaborate with various internal stakeholders:  wholesale team on the wholesale channel, marketing team for promotional marketing calendars of all brands, distribution centres for inventory levels and delivery of product to customers as well as product, sourcing and merchandising departments to ensure new product launches
  • Lead and develop continuous improvement initiatives in the areas of inventory management, order management, demand forecasting accuracy, replenishment flows, warehouse space planning and overall metrics tracking
  • Be a key liaison between DTC brands and all vendors to facilitate the planning process and the coordination of supply chain activities to maximize operational efficiency and ensure customer satisfaction, through best products, and best delivery experience
  • Monitor and report on weekly and monthly Key Performance Metrics (KPMs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to understand departmental performance at brand level as well as support the creation and implementation of Metrics in the area of inventory management, demand planning, replenishment, fulfilment and deliveries
  • Provide insights, direction, and business analytics to the demand planning teams to ensure targets are achieved as well as the fulfilment operations team to ensure customer orders are flowing to distribution centres and are shipped and delivered on time


The Qualifications and Experience we like to see:

  • University Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related discipline
  • Must have at least 5-10 years of experience in a DTC Supply Chain and Fulfilment Operation as well as eCommerce, preferably related furniture or fashion retail environment with high volume inbound and outbound flows and last mile delivery to end customers; purchasing experience would be an asset
  • Exceptional projection management, interpersonal, communication, organizational, relationship-building, negotiation, analytical, and presentation skills
  • Manage multiple and competing priorities in a fast pace work environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with both internal and external stakeholders as well as build and develop strong partnerships
  • Proficient in Excel or Google Sheets; Power BI is an asset
  • Experience with ERP ie., Oracle, SAP, Fulfil.IO
