This position is part time 10 pm to 6:30 am on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday overnights.

Here's where you'll be focusing:

Adhere to all Food Safety Protocols, Standard Operating Procedures, Health and Safety, corporate policies, and other programs and initiatives
Demonstrate a thorough knowledge and understanding of policies and procedures
Keep work area clean, safe, and presentable at all times
Demonstrate product knowledge; remain aware of product changes and seasonal requirements
Use appropriate computer applications and pricing program, ensuring pricing data is inputted and that prince changes are activated.
Monitor and edit discontinued and deleted items
Ensure accurate verification of shelf tags to computer file, warehouse prices, and detail order books
Ensure daily price change printouts are reviewed and price change batches are reconciled
Ensure data from file server is imported, changes are verified, and data is transferred to POS
Ensure shelf labels, signage, and displays are created and displayed to company standards
Ensure various item reports are prepared and forwarded to appropriate departments
Train junior staff, as required

What you have to offer:

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Above average communication skills (oral and written)
Demonstrated initiative and motivation with a commitment to teamwork
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
An ability to understand and implement Store Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Previous experience working in a grocery store environment is considered an asset
May be required to lift up to 20lbs, stand for long periods of time, and complete physical work including but not limited to bending, lifting, and reaching

Here's where you'll be focusing:

  • Provide excellent customer service processing transactions to meet customer needs
  • Maintain an accurate cash drawer following company policies and procedures
  • Operate Customer Service Desk following all procedures for lottery sales, refunds, bottle returns and inquiries
  • Maintain Front End Department merchandise
  • Participate in the training of junior staff
  • Adhere to, and implement all applicable company standards
  • Support additional departments and functions with other duties as required
