Make an impact with our Consumer Insolvency team as an Estate Manager. This diverse team of professionals assists Canadians with navigating and overcoming financial challenges and achieving financial freedom. Responsibilities

  • Assist with planning and delivery of consumer insolvency services
  • Assist with administering formal insolvency appointments including bankruptcies and proposals
  • Develop relationships with current and potential referral sources including credit counsellors, debt counsellors, lawyers, accountants, etc.
  • Prepare and review relevant BIA documentation
  • Help identify innovative ways to deliver added value to debtors; ensure debtor needs are met
  • Maintain high quality control and apply specialized knowledge to anticipate, identify and address issues or key risks relevant to the debtor
  • Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes
  • Maintain flexibility to travel periodically, as necessary


Skills And Experience

  • Completion of the Insolvency Administration course and/or BIA Insolvency Counselor course, or willingness to work toward same depending on experience
  • 2 to 4 years of insolvency experience; professional services experience outside of insolvency will also be considered
  • Ability to Speak French and English (written and oral) is considered an asset
