We are currently seeking a .NET/Splunk Software Developer to join our team Remote based anywhere in Canada.

Job Description

  • The .NET Developer codes software applications based on business requirements.
  • The work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.
  • The .NET Developer standardizes the quality assurance procedure for software.
  • Oversees testing and debugging and develops fixes.
  • Research complaints and makes necessary adjustments and/or recommendations to resolve complex software related issues.
  • Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas.
  • Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed.
  • Follows established guidelines/procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Systems Analysis or Application Programming Development using .NET Core and .NET Frameworks.
  • 2+ years of experience with CI/CD and DevOps.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in writing Splunk queries.
  • Familiarity with UpToDate .NET/.NET Core framework & related technologies.
  • Good knowledge on Splunk Architecture, Administration and its Components.
  • Experience with Splunk Knowledge objects, (Saved Searches, Lookups).
  • Experience with Splunk index Cluster and Search Head Cluster environment.
  • Good understanding of OnPremise and Splunk Cloud.
  • Experience with Parsing, Indexing, Searching concepts.
  • Experience in creating Data Models and Dev-ops experience.
  • Experience in remediation / upgrade / migration projects.
  • Experience with working in Agile environment.
