As a Business Analyst, Data and Analytics at Groupe Touchette, you will play a pivotal role in our analytics transformation journey. This role is designed for a curious, detail-oriented and proactive individual who thrives in a dynamic environment. You will be responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring alignment between stakeholders, to enable data driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather Requirements & Align Vision: Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and technical requirements. Conduct cross-functional workshops and interviews to elicit requirements and identify pain points, ensuring key decisions are equipped with appropriate analytics solutions.
  • Define Product Roadmap: Work closely with stakeholders to create and communicate a clear product vision and roadmap aligned with company goals. Define and prioritize the product backlog, while applying first principles thinking to challenge assumptions and ensure innovative analytics solutions.
  • Facilitate Agile Practices: Facilitate Scrum Agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, review, and retrospective meetings. Align sprint goals and ensure proper prioritization to maintain focus on delivering business value.
  • Create Detailed Requirements: Align business needs with technical capabilities by creating and refining detailed user stories and acceptance criteria to support the agile delivery process. Support the drafting of business and functional requirements to support core business and technical objectives.
  • User-centricity: Act as the voice of the user throughout the development lifecycle. Collaborate with Power BI developers, UX designers, data architects, SAP specialists and business analysts to ensure business objectives are met and user’s needs are addressed.
  • Support Training & Change Management: Support training and change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and solutions.
  • Present Updates & Insights: Present updates, project status, and key insights to various stakeholders, ensuring project investments yield positive ROI.

Qualifications

  • MBA coupled with an analytical degree such as Engineering or Comp Sci preferred
  • 4+ years of experience in a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or similar role.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
  • Strong knowledge of Scrum Agile methodologies, with experience leading Agile ceremonies.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into a clear and actionable product backlog.
  • Proven experience working with SAP systems and Power BI for business analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to support training and change management plans, ensuring user adoption of new solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Power BI and similar tools
  • Experience with SAP and other ERP systems.
  • Familiarity with user experience design and customer journey mapping.
  • Understanding of process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
  • Passion for Analytics, Data Science or AI.
