Yard Coordinator

The Yard Coordinator will assist the site team with receiving, loading, and unloading shipments, and may handle some deliveries and pick-ups. They will ensure a clear, safe workspace for all and support the Site Superintendent with moving, loading, and cleaning tasks. The ideal candidate is proactive, deadline-driven, and comfortable working independently on their feet. These skills combined with experience with inventory management systers and Microsoft applications are required for this position.

This position is based in Chilliwack starting ASAP - Dec 31.

What would you be doing?

• Cleaning and maintenance of tools and equipment .
• General facility maintenance.
• Transport materials, tools, and equipment.
• Dig trenches, shovel snow, gravel, and other materials.  
• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment.
• Help trades in various tasks.
• Other duties as assigned.
  
  
  

Does this sound like you?

• 5 years industrial warehouse experience
• Telehandler certification and trailer towing experience
• Valid CSTS-20
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in all weather conditions.
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and a keen willingness to learn.
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
• Physically capable of performing all necessary duties of the job, including but not limited to heavy pulling, pushing and lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, shovelling, bending, twisting, etc.
