Job Purpose

We are seeking an experienced Class 1Driver to join our Rail Services team based in Saskatoon.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

• Comply with all jurisdiction traffic safety legislation.
• You will safely operate various units, including but not limited to roll off truck, tractor & trailer, self loader, etc.
• You will abide by all Secure and customer locations safety procedures.
• You will ensure all bins are safely placed in proper locations and tracked as per tracking system.
• You will inspect all materials to ensure that they are in compliance, as per paperwork.
• You will work Monday to Friday and must be willing to work overtime.
• You will be able to communicate effectively daily with the Dispatch to maximize customer needs and SECURE’s efficiency.
• You will assist with operations at the facility.
  
  

Qualifications/Competencies

• Minimum of 3 years driving experience in the transportation industry or demonstrated competency.
• Solid knowledge base with respect to Hours of Service, Load Securement and Driving Regulations.
• Solid understanding of Canadian geography, highway systems and rules.
• Preference is for a Class 1 Driver with equipment experience.
• Experience operating heavy equipment is an asset.
