As part of the Learning and Change team, the Senior Specialist Organizational Readiness will ensure change initiatives succeed by enhancing employee adoption through a focus on the people side of changes to business processes, systems, and technology. This lead-level role involves managing change readiness for medium to large-scale projects or multiple projects, developing the Change Readiness project plan, overseeing the team working on the plan, deliverables, and oversight on any outsourced work such as training, communications, and process development. The Senior Specialist Organizational Readiness will be well-versed in formal project management methodologies, processes, tools, standards and change techniques to ensure the project meets objectives on time and on budget and will consult with Project Sponsors, Project Managers and stakeholders but has the final decision on the OCR solution.
Key functions include:
- Defining and developing the Organizational Change Readiness (OCR) project solution
- Managing the OCR plan and resources
- Delivering the OCR solution and ensuring its effectiveness
Our ideal teammate will have:
Bachelor's degree in liberal arts, Human Relations, Public Relations/Communication or Adult Education, or a degree/diploma in a related discipline or equivalent
Eight years of relevant work experience in a combination of the following:
- Current industry related practices such as change management, learning & development, human behaviour, leadership and emerging trends in these areas
- Providing coaching and strategic guidance to senior leadership within an organization
- Working knowledge and understanding of project management skills
- Leading and managing teams or initiatives
- Developing training programs/plans
- Developing communication plans
- Experience providing change management solutions for digital transformation initiatives
- Experience (and preferably accreditation) using a formal change management methodology, such as ADKAR/Prosci
- Experience as a facilitator and workshop designer
In addition to:
- Strong management and organizational skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Solution-oriented mindset
Preference will be given to candidates who have training in principles of Organizational Change.
An equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered. Subject to competition response, the minimum qualifications may be modified.
An Eligibility List generated from this competition may be used to fill future vacancies at the same level within a period of up to 12 months.
