Responsibilities

  • Understanding and Documenting Requirements - Work closely with business partners to gather complex business requirements and facilitate solution design discussions to ensure you meet project needs. Build strong relationships, lead discussions, listen and ask the right questions to ensure solutions meet requirements.
  • Solution Design - Build client-focused solutions that meet business requirements. Prepare and validate solution design documents around areas such as scope clarification, solution requirements, and quality assurance.
  • Organization - Oversee requests from various stakeholders and thought‐ fully create and/or edit a wide variety of presentation and communication materials (e.g. key messages, communication plans, tactical deliverables, presentations etc.)
  • Communication - Superior interpersonal and communication skills sufficient to convey or present factual and conceptual information on issues which require detailed explanation and interpretation.
  • Production Support - Conduct investigation and provide resolution (with help of developers when needed) for issues brought up by business.

Must Have Skills

  • 2+ yrs of Product Owner experience.
  • Understanding client experience and impact to making changes - financial experience - how people do banking.
  • Quality Assurance (pilot and production testing), and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Nice To Have

  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies, and Application and/or Architecture Development.
  • Previous banking experience (Retail banking)
  • Previous Digital experience
  • Jira/Confluence
  • Technology background (APIs and how they work)

Education And Certifications

  • Degree/diploma in Computer Science, Business, and/or a related field.
