We are currently seeking a Finance Student to join our team based in our Halifax, Nova Scotia office.

Type of Position: Full-Time, Contract (4 months)

Close Date: Monday, November 4th, 2024

Start Date: January, 2025

The Opportunity:

Our Finance Students play an integral role in providing support to a variety of functions on the Finance team throughout the winter including General Accounting, Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Management Reporting, G/L reconciliations and various other duties and/or projects as assigned.

In addition to supporting the Finance team with reporting, balancing, and analysis, the Finance Student will provide back-up coverage with processing and posting of daily bank deposits, incoming wires and visa payments.

The successful candidate will also assist with the coding and processing of vendor accounts payable invoices and the posting of the firm's prebills and final bills.

If you are a post-secondary student looking to complete a co-op placement (or a recent graduate) and have experience in an accounting environment, the ability to adapt to changing priorities and aptitude for working with numbers, we want to hear from you!
