Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced HR Director to lead our HR department and drive all human resources functions across the Americas. In this role, you will be responsible for key areas such as recruitment, onboarding, compensation, benefits, performance management, and employee development, ensuring these functions align with and support our overall business objectives.


As a strategic partner to the senior leadership team, you will collaborate closely with the px Group Chief People Officer to ensure that HR policies and practices are effectively implemented. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, with a proven track record of successfully implementing HR strategies, ideally in fast-paced environments or during periods of expansion in both Canada and the US.

Education & Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field preferred.
  • Experienced HR Business Partner (HRBP), with expertise in supporting both Canada and the USA.
  • Proven experience in building and managing HR functions, particularly in growing or expansion business environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian and US employment laws, federal and state regulations, and industry-specific requirements.
  • Proficiency in managing applicant tracking systems, job sites, and social media platforms for recruitment.
  • Experience in interviewing, candidate selection, and working with recruitment agencies.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and prioritize workload effectively.
  • Strong communication skills with experience supporting senior leadership teams.
