TalentWorld is recruiting an Operations Officer II in Toronto, Ontario for one of our clients.

Operations Officer II Job Responsibilities

• Review customer transactional data entered into Excel trackers and accurately populate Suspicious Transaction Reports (STR) in the FINTRAC F2R system.
• Confirm customer information, including name, address, business details, and occupation, ensuring all records are consistent with account nature.
• Maintain departmental files and systems, applying various analytical techniques and computer systems for efficient data management.
• Work independently while contributing to a team environment, prioritizing daily workloads to meet departmental objectives.
• Communicate effectively with team members to gather necessary information for supporting documentation and report generation.
• Analyze a wide range of transactions, including wires, ATMs, international transfers, debit card transactions, and others, for any irregularities.
  
  
  

Operations Officer II Job Qualifications:

• Prior 2-4 years of data entry experience in a financial setting, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
• Intermediate proficiency in Excel (1-2 years) and proficiency in MS Office, including Outlook.
• Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to internal systems and processes.
• Prior experience in banking at the branch level, with a basic understanding of financial transactions and AML principles.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate customer transactions and identify potential risks.
  
  
  

Employment Details:

• Salary: $23.50 an hour
• Benefits: 40 Hours Weekly, Hybrid – 2 days On-site, 3 days remote
• Duration: 1 year contract with possibility of extension.
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm
