Job Title: Part-Time Caregiver - Outdoor Activity & Support Caregiver

Location: Nanaimo & Central Island Area

Position Overview

We are currently seeking part-time caregivers who are available to provide support for clients of all ages, with a focus on outdoor activities and maintaining structure in their daily lives. Shifts may vary and could include mornings, afternoons, and evenings, with opportunities across the Nanaimo & Central Island area. No certifications are required, as we provide all necessary training.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, personalized care and engage clients in meaningful activities.
• Support clients in outdoor activities such as walks, trips to appointments, or errands.
• Assist with daily routines, helping with grooming, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Offer companionship and encourage clients to maintain an active and structured lifestyle.
• Help maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Assist with medication reminders and health monitoring as needed.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure the best care is provided.
  
  

Requirements

• Energetic and active, with a passion for helping clients engage in outdoor and structured activities.
• Flexible availability, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings.
• Genuine interest in making a positive impact in the lives of others.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Eligible to work in Canada, BC.
• Fluent in written and spoken English; clear criminal background check and vulnerable sector check required upon hire.
• Having your own vehicle with valid auto insurance.

We provide comprehensive training to all caregivers, regardless of previous experience. Our training equips you with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in your caregiving role, focusing on client safety, communication, and proper caregiving techniques.
