AECOM is seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineering Graduate for our London, Ontario office.

The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Perform assignments requiring the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to carry out engineering tasks.
  • Undertake preliminary and detailed engineering design activities under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
  • Exercise judgment limited to developing details of work in making preliminary selections and adaptations of engineering alternatives.
  • Create designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under the supervision of an experienced engineer for water and wastewater infrastructure.
  • Equipment selection and liaison with equipment suppliers and vendors.
  • Preparation of technical specifications, special provisions, and forms of tender.
  • Collect and analyze data under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
  • Use computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems.
  • Perform work in accordance with agreed-upon budget and schedule under supervision.
  • Review of quantity and cost estimates for completeness and accuracy
  • Provision of contract administration services during the construction of water and wastewater infrastructure and facilities.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to complete water and wastewater infrastructure assignments.
  • Prepare technical reports and analysis to support project assignments.
  • Actively engage in professional development and industry events.


Minimum Requirements :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Proficient in common desktop packages, i.e. Word, Excel, MS Project, MS PowerPoint.
  • Motivated, team player, independent, organized with strong business acumen.
