Red Seal Carpenter

Job Title: Red Seal Carpenter
Location: Dartmouth,NS
Shift/Hours: Monday to Friday
Pay Rate: $ 80,000 - $ 100,000

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine carpentry requirements
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials
- Build and install structures such as walls, floors, roofs, windows, doors, cabinets, and furniture
- Install hardware such as hinges, handles, locks, and other fixtures
- Repair or replace damaged or defective parts
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project completion

Qualifications:
- Must have minimum Level 4 apprenticeship.
- Proven experience as a carpenter or similar role
- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting construction plans
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and tools
- Ability to accurately measure, cut, shape, and assemble materials
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks

Requirements:
-10 Years Experience
-Must Demonstrate ability to do material takeoffs, small job estimating, experienced in Microsoft programs (Excel, Word, Project, etc. )
-Safety orientated, valid class 5 driver's licence.
