THE POSITION

As the Chief Commercial Officer for Canada at Honeywell, you'll be at the helm of a multifaceted role combining the responsibilities of a Chief Strategy Officer, Business Development, and Business Operations. This dynamic leadership position demands a strong external persona and a deep customer focus to strategize, execute, and drive growth, expansion, and innovation within the Canada market. From formulating strategic directions to ensuring commercial excellence and fostering innovation, you'll play a pivotal role in steering Honeywell's growth trajectory in Canada.

Primary Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:

  • Define and evolve the strategic direction for Honeywell in Canada, both individually and collectively with business leaders.
  • Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to align strategic initiatives, prioritize growth areas, and spearhead expansion into new markets.
  • Stay abreast of disruptive technologies and emerging trends, integrating innovation seamlessly into strategic plans.

Commercial Excellence

  • Oversee all commercial operations, including sales, marketing, and pricing strategies, with a focus on achieving revenue and profit targets.
  • Cultivate and nurture high-performing sales and business development teams through recruitment, training, and continuous development efforts.
  • Take charge of driving excellence in strategic account management and growth, fostering a One-Honeywell approach across business teams.
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators and metrics to evaluate sales performance, demand generation, and marketing ROI effectively.

Offering Excellence & Innovation

  • Lead the development and deployment of compelling value propositions, offering roadmaps, and connected solutions tailored to key customers and markets.
  • Collaborate closely with Chief Technology Officers to ensure successful new product introductions and optimize product lifecycle management.

Demand Generation & Marketing

  • Drive strategic demand generation initiatives, develop robust ROI models for marketing investments, and facilitate sustained pipeline growth.
  • Oversee digital customer marketing efforts and implement effective go-to-market plans to maximize market penetration.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience in a combination of Sales, Key Account Management, and Business Development.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at varying levels across the organization.
  • Strong background in B2B environments, including software, technology, energy/sustainability, manufacturing, or telecommunications industries.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth, market expansion, and successful product introductions.
  • Prior experience in consulting, corporate strategy, and in-house corporate development roles.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business. MBA or similar advanced degree preferred.

The Honeywell building is a controlled goods program environment. Candidates must be eligible for CGP clearance.
