About The Role

We are looking for a Property Claims Analyst to join our claims West Property – Coaching & Quality Assurance team in the West!

As a Property Claims Analyst, you will leverage your technical knowledge and adjusting experience to complete internal file reviews of property claims. Each month, you will provide analytics and share insights into results to stakeholders. Through a solid understanding of property claims file handling and month reviews you will identify key technical strengths and opportunities for the property business.

This role requires a minimum of 2 days per week working within one of the Intact offices.

What You’ll Do Here

  • Complete monthly claims file audits through the Internal File Review program, leakage alerts and any other reviews as required.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, coaching opportunities and challenge status quo through recommendations.
  • Analyze and present information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences within the organization. To answer specific business questions, summarizing key issues and topics.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with multiple teams within the claim’s organization. Work effectively with all levels of leadership.
  • Facilitate working sessions with experts from different fields and levels of leadership.
  • Coach individuals and teams to technical property claims handling aspects in both structured as well as ad-hoc environment.
  • Participate in the development of business practices and tools, as well as department initiatives.
  • Provide support to the Property teams where necessary.

What You Bring To The Table

  • 5+ years of claims adjusting experience personal and commercial property, with a focus on commercial property.
  • Experience with additional lines of business considered an asset.
  • Experience in quality assurance considered an asset.
  • CIP completed or in progress (preferred).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively present information, influence decisions and coach others.
  • Excellent analytical skills and high attention to detail.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to drive results and influence stakeholders.
  • Superior problem solving and persuasion skills.
  • Forward thinking, with an innovative mindset.
  • Working knowledge of claims system and Microsoft office programs (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Self-driven and highly organized with the ability to prioritize work and exercise independent thinking.
  • Ability to quickly pivot and adapt in an ever-evolving business.
  • Post-secondary education preferred.

Salary of the successful candidate will typically be positioned between the following range, taking into consideration a number of factors including prior experience, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, location and internal equity:

$65,000.00 - $97,600.00
