We seek a dedicated People Relations (PR) Specialist to join our dynamic US/Canada team and contribute to creating a supportive and compliant workplace. This role provides an excellent opportunity for individuals to grow and develop their employee relations expertise.

The Opportunity:

The People Relations Specialist will provide direct support to line managers on employee relations issues, such as attendance management and initial performance/behavioral concerns, including guiding leaders through difficult conversations and corrective actions. You will play a pivotal role in key moments that matter in the employee lifecycle, liaising with internal stakeholders such as legal, compliance, IT, and local Security teams, and partnering with People Relations Partners to oversee termination processes, administer legal agreements, support organizational change and strategic workforce planning activities, and to facilitate other People Relations and compliance programs.

You will assist the People Relations team with internal communications, including data reporting and dashboard development & maintenance, and with presentations and other information and knowledge sharing to line managers and employees.

Who you are:

Qualifications and Experiences:

  • 5+ years in P&C or business experience, with one or more of the following:
    • 2 years experience in an employee relations role;
    • At least 2 years in experience coaching managers on feedback conversations and performance management activities, ideally including guiding them to draft and issue corrective action;
    • Excellent, in-depth understanding of US leave of absence and other attendance legislation, including experience guiding managers to implement attendance management policies and strategies effectively
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Knowledge of US and Canadian employment legislation

Processes development:

  • Develop and create processes and procedures
  • Manage policy interpretations and website content
  • Support reorganization and workforce planning
  • Provide internal guidance on policies and practices
  • Assist with onboarding, investigations, and specialized projects
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding work goals with contributions to organizational policies, programs, and practices
  • Passion for continuous learning and ability to work across multiple business areas

Preferred:

  • Fluency in French (verbal and written) is preferred but not required

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indiana is $75,300- $139,900 Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
