As an Analyst or Associate, you will be a foundational part of our transaction execution team. Reporting to the Director, Execution Services, you will run transactions from handshake to closing, provide exceptional support to the companies, buyers, sellers and legal counsel that we work with, and help Hiive’s customers unlock the value of their startup stock.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Would Include

  • Aligned to a Capital Markets ‘Pod’, you will manage Hiive’s transaction execution and issuer support initiatives and processes, working closely with buyers and sellers, legal counsel, and issuers to provide exceptional client service and achieve excellent outcomes.
  • Maintain agreements and communication templates to support all execution products and services.
  • Compile documents and signature packages and obtain signatures as part of transaction closings.
  • Liaise with parties to provide updates and troubleshoot issues.
  • Work within Hiive’s CRM and other information systems to organize, record, and track important information.
  • Work with the compliance team to support KYC, AML, and other compliance and regulatory objectives.
  • Work with Finance to ensure the ongoing integrity of our revenue pipeline and the seamless settlement of transactions.
  • Support the Director, Execution Services with developing and implementing new processes and ways of working while providing subject matter expertise to our Product team in the ongoing development of the Hiive platform.

Required Experience

  • 3-5+ years of experience working in any fast-paced corporate setting.
  • An undergraduate degree in a relevant area, ideally in commerce/business, law or economics, with a strong academic record.
  • Excellent attention to detail, resourcefulness, and speed of execution.
  • Strong multi-tasking skills.
  • Ability to communicate priorities and deadlines with internal and external stakeholders and build constructive high-trust relationships across teams and functions.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in transactional work with high volumes of transaction documents, such as M&A, capital markets, or corporate finance.
  • Experience in a client-facing role.
