Key Responsibilities
- Drive innovation by researching and implementing new technologies, raw materials, and formulas across the Skincare category
- Re-engineer benchmarks and design new chassis formulas, identifying product and process innovations
- Collaborate with raw material suppliers on new applications and innovations
- Optimise the raw material portfolio for cost-effectiveness and efficiency
- Ensure compliance with regulations, specifications, and feasibility
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, actively participating in client visits, risk assessments, and new product launch meetings
- Support technical development of internal talent, providing guidance and training
- Science degree, preferably Chemistry, plus significant Skincare formulation experience
- Technical knowledge of raw material functions and applications
- Expertise in processing technologies, testing and analytical instruments
- Proficient in NPD, performance evaluation, market trends, manufacturing, quality, GMP/GLP, and 5S
- Excellent organisational, problem-solving and teamwork skills
- Strong leadership abilities and experience in coaching junior staff
