The Opportunity

Our Employee Benefits Division is excited to welcome you into our client-focused culture. Join us with your years of group benefits experience as our next Client Service Representative. Here’s your chance to refine and develop your client service and analytical skills as a Permanent Full Time CSR in our Employee Benefits Division.

This role is based out of our Downtown Vancouver office.

The Responsibilities

  • Assist Account Executives with all aspects of servicing group and individual accounts
  • Maintain accurate renewal calendar, communicate renewal timelines to Account Executives
  • Process documentation: renewals, proposals, claims history, customer correspondence
  • Maintain electronic and paper client/carrier files
  • Ensure accuracy of policy documentation from insurers before forwarding to the client
  • Contact clients regarding renewals and claims, update changes
  • Answer account related questions/requests from clients and insurers
  • Provide policy and coverage information to clients upon request or inquiry
  • Attend occasional client meetings with Consultants
  • Create marketing materials and presentations for Consultants
  • Act as liaison between Consultants and Corporate clients

The Requirements

  • Successful completion of LLQP or willing to obtain
  • 2+ years of experience in the employee benefits industry
  • Willingness to learn and take on increasing levels of responsibility, including client communication
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent Communication
  • Typing speed of at least 55 wpm
  • Good working knowledge of underwriting arrangements
  • Has a high attention to detail
  • Comfortable conducting employee education sessions and client administration orientation sessions
  • Good understanding of employee benefits plan analytics

Asset Experience That Will Make You Stand Out

  • Experience with flex plans is an asset

The expected salary range for this position is $60,000 to $75,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level. HUB International is proud to offer comprehensive benefit and total compensation packages which could include extended health benefits, disability insurance, RRSP matching, paid-time-off benefits, and eligible bonuses, and commissions for some positions.
