Junior Business Analyst - Audit Confirmation Analyst – Job Description
- Collect and accept requests from various external auditors via email or through “Confirmation.com” and
- record these requests into an access type database for tracking purposes
- Responsible for forwarding requests with financial information to various business lines within GWO,
- following up on these requests, and responding to auditors, internal and external clients in a courteous and professional manner
- Assist with the coordination of all internal and external audits within the GWO reconciliation teams
- Responsible for ensuring that all information requested is reviewed for accuracy, any discrepancies are followed up and/or escalated and finally returning requested information back to the requestor within prescribed timelines
- Working on reports like daily stats, allocations, aging report, etc.
- Moderating start-of-day daily team huddles, on rotational basis, to discuss the day’s volumes, allocations, issues, if any
- Follow up and provide frequent updates to the business lines, clients, and auditors upon request via email and/or online calls
- Assemble metrics for management to keep track of incoming and outgoing audit confirmation requests
- Understanding departmental and client needs while collaborating with our business partners to focus on building strong relationships and encourage positive experiences
- 2-4 years as Business Analyst
- Strong Customer Service skills
- Intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel
- Strong written and verbal communications
- Collaborative skills
- A team player
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- Prior Operations experience
- Prior Financial Institution experience
